Words From The Editor..........
Hello IMVU Community! Here we are, our second issue of The SpotLight Magazine. I'd like to take a moment to thank everyone who was a part of our Premier issue and Premier Event. Thank you to the designers, models, advertisers, but mostly to the Community members who came out to support us.
As I was working on items for the magazine, thoughts crossed my mind about the efforts it takes to bring a quality magazine to the IMVU Community. Here, at The SpotLight, we want to present to you not just beautiful pictures and a great presentation, but we want to give you a magazine with great content too. In our quest to do this, the word perseverance came to me.
I found the definition of perseverance in the Merriam-Webster dictionary. Perseverance means; the quality that allows someone to continue trying to do something even though it is difficult. This is the mentality we have here at The SpotLight. We want to present to the IMVU Community a quality magazine even when it gets difficult for us. Also mentioned was this phrase: “Perseverance is required to perfect just about any skill.” Our goal is to continue to evolve and get as close to perfection as possible, in what we present to the community, because, we will persevere.
Last month was Breast Cancer Awareness, this month starts our Holiday Season for 2013. It is my prayer that all of you that are fighting, not only breast cancer, but any illness, you will continue to fight, persevere, and be victorious. I hope we all embrace this season to come. I hope we share love and hope with our family and friends here in the IMVU Community, but also in our real lives.
As you flip through the pages of The SpotLight, know that ChancesKaVaciea and I, are striving for excellence, and we have the perseverance to continue to bring to you, the IMVU Community, a magazine, that will focus on the issues of interest to you. We will continue to bring to you some of IMVU's hottest designers and room creators, while introducing to you others. We will provide you with content from columnist that bring you interesting articles and also spotlighting the poetic talent of others.
Remember, this is a work of love for us. So enjoy our magazine, The SpotLight and know that this is all for you!
