Words From The Editor..........

Hello IMVU Community! Here we are into another year, 2014! I hope you all had a blessed Holiday season. It’s my hope that you connected with family and friends to share the special feelings of the season.

This is the time of year when we reflect, make new goals, correct mistakes and try new and exciting things. I’m sure there are some of you trying on that new diet, or signing up at the gym. Some of you may be looking to enroll into classes to upgrade your skills. Some may be redecorating your homes or looking to change careers. This is the time when all things seem new and fresh as a new year is before us with all of the possibilities that it brings.

I often hear and read people say, “Stay In Your Lane”, or “I’m In My Lane”. I’d often ask myself, what do they mean? What is a lane? Well, a lane can be seen as a well-defined track or path. With all the good IMVU Publications that are out here, one could easily become doubtful or even question their lane. But, what is for you, is for you and what is for me, is for me. What is for The SpotLight, is for The SpotLight.

Here at The SpotLight, we want to “stay in our lane”, stay to our well-defined track or path. With that being said, we will continue to bring to you, the IMVU Community, a magazine filled with content, discovery of talent, surveys that allow you to be heard and we will have a purpose. We encourage all and wish all success in all of their endeavors. We understand what our lane is and we truly enjoy being in our lane.

As we embark on this new year of 2014, we will challenge ourselves to bring you new and exciting articles while introducing you to some of the great talent on IMVU. Allowing you to see IMVU Community members in their lanes and doing what has been chosen for them. Lanes that include designing Fashion and Rooms, writing articles, creating poetic flows and of course, opinions. I encourage us all to find that gift/lane that is ours.

As you flip thru the pages, I hope you can feel our spirit of excellence and perseverance in bringing you a quality magazine, The SpotLight.

Remember, it really is a work of love for us. We will not only stay in our lane, but will work to make this and every issue great. So, enjoy our magazine and know that it’s all for you! HAPPY NEW YEARS!
