CRASHING THE GOVERNOR ' S PARTY

THE SPORTSMEN ’ S ALLIANCE SUES CALIFORNIA OVER GOV . NEWSOM ' S SIGNING OF AN ANTI-HUNTING , GUN-CONTROL LAW .

By Brian Lynn , Vice President , Marketing and Communications

Everyone knows the impact California has on the rest of the United States and even the world . The Golden State is the world ’ s fifth largest economy , ahead of India , the United Kingdom and France . It dominates the U . S . social and political landscape and has been the epicenter of social media , even the Information Age itself , for nearly three decades . With great power comes great responsibility , however . Unfortunately , the state has gone off the rails , even by

California standards . It ’ s become nothing more than a specialinterest cocktail party of epic proportions , one attended by movie stars and big-tech influencers . In short , the social norms and beliefs of urbanites in San Francisco and Los Angeles have trumped everyone — and everything — in the rest of the state . Especially under Gov . Gavin Newsom , California politicians have forsaken any semblance of representing the interests of millions of sportsmen by passing a myriad of laws restricting or outright ending hunting , fishing , trapping and shooting .
