KARISSA BURKHARDT ENSEMBLE Karissa loves performing with TCR , where she was recently seen as Frenchie in Cabaret , Esther in Meet Me in St . Louis , and in the ensembles of Mamma Mia ! and Cinderella ! Other performances include Legally Blonde , Camelot , Beauty and the Beast , and Newsies with City Circle ; Il Matrimonio Segreto ( Elisetta ) and HMS Pinafore ( Josephine u / s ) with UI Opera Theatre ; The Sound of Music ( Maria ), Sweeney Todd ( Johanna ), and She Kills Monsters ( Agnes ) with Theatre West ; and Amahl and the Night Visitors ( Amahl ) and Persuasion ( Cassandra ) with Chamber Opera Chicago . She is majoring in vocal performance , theatre , and dance at the University of Iowa . Thank you to everyone at TCR , especially Lisa , Janelle , Megan , Madi , and this wonderful cast and crew !
BELLE CANNEY THE MAYOR OF BIKINI BOTTOM After working and volunteering at TCR for over 5 years , Belle is so excited to be taking to the stage for the very first time ! While new to TCR ' s stage , Belle has previously been seen across the street at Coe College in productions such as Next to Normal , Big Love , Leader of the Pack , and most recently , Fun Home . Belle is so grateful that she got lucky enough to be cast in such a phenomenal show and surrounded by such extraordinary talent . She wants to thank her family , her castmates , and all of the " ladies and gentlefish " that work the magic behind the scenes--they ' re the real " big guys ." MIGUEL DAVIDSON PATCHY THE PIRATE / ENSEMBLE / CO- DANCE CAPTAIN Miguel is excited to be part of The SpongeBob Musical at Theater Cedar Rapids , having previously performed in Rent , Mamma Mia !, Cabaret , Kinky Boots , and Monster Songs . Outside of theater , he loves spending time with his family , friends , and his two fluffy puppies , Cosmo and Daisy . Miguel is grateful for the support he has received over the years , which helped him grow into the performer he is today .
SOPHIE DAVIDSON GARY / ENSEMBLE Sophie Davidson is so excited to join her second production at TCR ! Sophie was previously seen on the TCR stage in Meet Me In St . Louis ( Kid ’ s Ensemble ). Other previous roles include Emily in Our Town at Linn-Mar High School , and Ursula in The Little Mermaid Jr . as part of the TCR summer camp performance . Sophie would like to thank her family for being so supportive of her theatrical dreams and the cast and crew for making this delightful show happen !
COLETTE DAVIS PIRATE BRIGADE Colette is thrilled to be returning to the TCR stage after her debut last spring as Gretl in The Sound of Music . She is excited to continue pursuing her theatre ambitions . Colette thanks her family for all their support .
