Tell us a little about your business?
It was founded in 2011 but got state economic
start-up development funding March 2014.
MightyTykes sells great gear for special kids.
Our flagship product is MightyTykes™ Infant &
Child Weights. Inspired by the birth of my son,
Isaac, who has Down Syndrome, I developed
the weights with the input of physical and
occupational therapists, including a few from
the “U.S. News & World Reports Top Children’s
Hospitals” list, which participated in a limited
trial just over a year ago. Parents and therapists
have found that the MightyTykes™ weights may
help with a variety of conditions including onesided weakness, hypotonia, sensory issues, toewalking, and many others.
