BS"D How a Bird Learned to Fly At the Meeting Center with Tzippy the bird This is a story about a bird named Tzippy who lived in a special Forest around Eden Pond. Tzippy has healthy wings, but to her misfortune, she hadn't learned how to fly. Most of the time, she finds it necessary to beg for friends to bring her fruits from the trees. We find her this lovely spring day standing next to Mickey the monkey. Mickey immediately turns to, and asks, "good morning my dear friend, what can I do for you?" Picture: We have to picture a bird walking towards Eden Pond, next to which is seated a monkey Tzippy the bird, slightly embarrassed, tells her friend, "I would be so happy if you brought me a few pieces of lovely fruits from up in that tree. It'd be enough to feed my whole family." The Special Eden Creatures always help one another. Mickey the Monkey asks, Tzippy, "Haven't I always brought you fruit from the trees? But not anymore! You absolutely must learn to fly, so you can feed your family." The Special Eden Creatures had offered a lot of good advice over the years: "Tzippy, you're a bird. You were created with wings so that you can fly. Bring your children any fruit that you want them to eat! Spread your wings and fly, Tzippy the bird!" Picture: Special Eden Creatures sitting around Eden Pond holding a discussion. Tzippy the bird covered her face with her wings started to whine, "How will I feed my family? Mickey, please and take me up the tree so I can fill my pouches with food to feed my babies." Fraidy the frog added, "I wish I had wings like you." Gerry the giraffe replied, "Your tears, and sobbing are not going to help you. You can fly, just believe it and try." Who, more than the giraffe, knows what happens at the height of trees? "I've seen how little birds learn to fly," added Gerry. "I have an idea for you," he offered. All the "Special Creatures" joined Gerry and said in unison, "Go to the one creature who knows everything; Oliver the Wise Old the Owl." Picture: Giraffe with her head bowed talking to a little bird whose wings cover her face Ollie, the owl sleeps all day. He can see far into the distance with his big round eyes. Owls have a very special hoot that can be heard everywhere in Eden Forest. Ollie the wise old owl always asks many questions. "Who?", "when?", "where?", "what?", and "why?" He always knows exactly what to do in every situation. Tzippy the bird and Mickey the Monkey headed out to Ollie's old oak tree with the setting of the sun. The rest of the forest animals were getting ready to go to sleep.
