CROWD-FUND YOUR OWN CASE
PEOPLE COMING TOGETHER TO ENABLE JUSTICE
By Jenese James
Late 19th century English novelist Arnold Bennett
said, “The price of justice is eternal publicity”. The creation of a crowd funding platform is an excellent way to
bring publicity to injustice, to bring it to the forefront
of people’s awareness, and to get the world involved.
The ITNJ is committed to enabling all peoples of the
world to bring their cases forward. We know that justice costs. We also know that we must, at least in these
times of transition, charge a fee. Covering the costs of
bringing abusers to account (whether they be governments, corporations, or any denomination thereof), is a
task that will benefit all of us in the long term, and this
expense must not be left to one person or small groups
of people.
Therefore, to ensure that all people have the opportunity for their cases to be heard, our crowd funding
platform will help fund costs that will invariably arise
as we make our presence felt in the halls and corridors
of power, as we the people begin to unite and bring
these governing entities to account.
We, who despair at the nightly news, the state of the
world, the tyranny of governments, the arrogance of
corporations, now have an opportunity to help make
real change in the world by supporting this crowd
funding platform. The various events and cases will
begin to be felt as a powerful force for good in the
world. Remember, the ITNJ belongs to the people;
that means you and me. The state, any corporation, or
special vested interests do not control us.
The first case on the platform is: UZA v Republic of
South Africa, and Constitutional Court of South
Africa.
“This is the most important thing that you could involve
yourself in and the amazing thing about these times is
that we can know about these things as they happen. If
this was the French revolution three hundred years ago,
the same thing happened but they sat in a café with a
few people and no one knew that on behalf of the people
someone was going to challenge a tyranny. Please, please,
please, don’t make them stand alone.”
~ Gavin Sher, speaking about the case at Learning
Man, January 2016, South Africa
