scope of the issue at hand, as sought after by the original parties. But where does disagreement or controversy come from? Whether a dispute between nation states, or an issue between a father and his son, the primary factors involved are knowledge and free will. until all persons are apprised as to the intended plans of the acting party. In other words, communication of one’s goals, with full and complete disclosure, is an essential part of preventing controversy before it happens. If individuals were simply willing to share the whole truth with their fellows, the vast majority of all controversies would be settled in short order. If agreement is the term used to denote when two minds have become one, then knowledge is the foundation on which the will acts to issue consent. We cannot agree to something we are not aware of, therefore the absence of knowledge creates the potential for controversy. Communication is the primary tool for ensuring that knowledge possessed in one mind is transmitted to another. Once each party is of the same mind, now a choice can be made to either agree or disagree from a similar point of view. In this sense, all justice employs communication, with the primary goal of reestablishing cooperation in social systems. The mechanics of cooperation are expressed in many ways, most recognizably in the four elements of a contract. Once these elements are understood, the individual is possessed of key knowledge to navigate the world without creating controversy. These are the attributes of an honorable, sovereign, and wise being seeking to harmonize their goals and plans with all others. Knowledge provides a foundation, but free will must still accept or reject what was offered. When an individual rejects the perspectives of another this is known as dishonor. Dishonor creates more controversy because it is a rejection of another’s point of view, no matter how erroneous that may be ‒ another disagreement. The resolution of a disagreement cannot take place honorably unless all parties involved choose to do so: actually accept the knowledge provided by another via a free will choice. When an individual chooses to accept the position of another, this is known as honor, indicative of a willingness to settle the controversy. ELEMENTS OF A CONTRACT When individuals cannot resolve disputes on their own, because of a refusal to settle the matter, dishonor in some capacity is hindering cooperation because no trust has been established. In many cases, compromise could have been reached that would satisfy both parties, but bruised egos and a desire to continue the controversy prevent resolution. Any time an individual’s desire and plan of manifestation affects another, the potential for controversy exists Natural Law is the term describing primal realities which are foundational to the worldly setting for human activities, especially those relating to personal sovereignty and inalienable rights. The right to engage in commerce or cooperation is a core component to a contractual arrangement, wherein two or more free will beings form a union of intent to bring about a mutually agreeable working, development or co-creation. In order to achieve this state of cooperation, the free flow of ideas and information between parties is essential. The four elements of a contract detail the mechanics of establishing trust, and in the case of justice, the process of resolving controversy. Element #1 - Intention to Create. A goal or desire is envisaged in the mind and a potential protocol, plan of action, or method for actualization is explored. At this stage, no communication has taken place, only formulation of the goal and plan of action. TheSovereignVoice.Org
