Wales council tax: Average bills to rise 2.9% in 2013/14
Council tax bills in Wales will rise by an average of around
2.9% in April.
Despite the rise, local government leaders say Welsh
taxpayers will still pay around £200 less than those in
England during the next financial year.
Cuts to public spending and the state of the economy made
it inevitable that bills would go up, said the Welsh Local
Government Association (WLGA).
Two of Wales’ 22 councils - Cardiff and Monmouthshire are freezing council tax in 2013/14.
The biggest rise will be 5% in Anglesey.
The 2.9% average comes from a survey by the WLGA.

From small beginnings, Green Acres is approaching its fifth birthday in 2013, and now

people but was unable to encompass all who were in need of help. So we started Rojene
Live-in Care.
Rojene Live-in Care was set up to provide a carer to live with any adult who was
considering having to leave their family home, as they were unable to look after themselves,
and go into a care home, residential home etc.
Sometimes families feel they cannot cope with the care and attention that is needed for
an elderly and/or infirm parent. The common option is a Care or Residential Home. Care
and Residential Homes do a wonderful job providing all round care, activities etc. But not
everybody wants to go into a Home.
Many have lived in their home for numerous years, seen the family grow up, had good and
bad times, parties, family get togethers. The memories are all around them. Most elderly
people would like to see their life out amongst familiar surroundings. Live-in Care provides
that choice
Our customers are any adult who needs, or would like, somebody to help them with
personal care, hygiene, meals, cooking, medication, assistance with mobility or even just a
full time companion if they feel they cannot cope, on their own, any more. Customers can
have varying degre
