PELLA HISTORICAL SOCIETY & MUSEUMS
This Dutch-American heritage village includes more than 20 historic buildings, the tallest working windmill in the United States and the Scholte House Museum. The organization also hosts Pella’ s internationally known Tulip Time Festival each spring.
OSKALOOSA ART CENTER & STUDIOS
A hub for fine arts in the community, the Oskaloosa Art Center & Studios features rotating exhibits, classes and events showcasing regional artists. The center plays a key role in the city’ s cultural life and is open to the public year-round.
AMERICAN GOTHIC HOUSE & VISITORS CENTER
One of Iowa’ s most iconic landmarks, the American Gothic House is where artist Grant Wood found inspiration for his worldfamous painting. Visitors can pose in front of the instantly recognizable home and explore the adjacent visitors center, which features exhibits, a gift shop and rotating community events.
