S . and abroad , AB- BAFAB is a stunning tribute to the music of ABBA featuring the sensational talents of some of TAD ’ s most talented and loved artists and musicians . This multimedia production is a tribute to some of

the greatest music produced in the 70s and 80s including monster hits such as Waterloo , Fernando , Honey Honey , Dancing Queen and countless others . From ABBA ’ s earliest hits to Mamma Mia , ABBA- FAB will take you on a technicolor journey that is unmatched . The Ottumwa Civic Music Association is presenting the performance .

uGary Allan , 7 p . m ., Bridge View Center With the allure of a modern-day outlaw , Gary Allan has won over fans , peers and critics with his signature blend of smoldering vocals , rebellious lyrics and raucous live performances . While becoming a force on the country music scene , Allan has remained true to his

artistic voice each step of the way . Allan ’ s most recent album , “ Ruthless ,” was released in June 2021 . The 13-song album features songs produced by Mark Wright , Tony Brown , Greg Droman , Jay Joyce and Allan himself .

May 18 uHigh Society Big Band , 7 p . m ., Bridge View Center The Ottumwa Civic Music Association presents “ High Society Big Band ,” which recreates the swinging jazz sounds of the Big Band era of the 1930s and 1940s . Performing compositions that span an entire century of music , including standards made famous by Duke Ellington , Glenn Miller , Artie Shaw , Benny Goodman , Count Basie , Stan Kenton , Harry James and Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey . High Society Big Band has performed for events throughout the state of Iowa from jazz festivals and traditional ballrooms , to the Iowa State Fair .
