The growing Cardinal Community School District celebrated many achievements in 2021 . Among several initiatives included new Project Orange program was implemented to increase positivity among students , Project Spark focused on the staff ’ s health and happiness , data showed a graduation rate 5 % higher than the state average , and welcoming Hank the Therapy Dog to the staff . Through concurrent enrollment , Cardinal students earned 1,393 college credits and saved $ 257,707 in college tuition last year .

Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont Community School District ’ s 922 students are Learning Today for Tomorrow ’ s World . EBF currently has three elementary buildings : Eddyville Elementary , Blakesburg Elementary and Fremont Elementary , and a Junior / Senior High School which is located in Eddyville and offers regular education , concurrent enrollment with IHCC and an alternative education program . Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont also has a Home School Assistant Program that is based at the EBF Jr / Sr High School .
