After Hurricane Michael hit , Celissia and her 5-year-old son needed help . Their house , in need of a new roof and with major interior water damage , which resulted in mold , was no longer inhabitable . Celissia filled out our online form requesting relief and because of the generosity of our donors , we were able to put Celissia and her son in temporary housing while we gutted and rebuilt their home . Through our Sonder Project Secret Santa , they are being sponsored for Christmas , and very soon they will be moving back into their rebuilt home .
