After Hurricane Michael hit, Celissia and her 5-year-old son needed help. Their house, in need of a new roof and with major interior water damage, which resulted in mold, was no longer inhabitable. Celissia filled out our online form requesting relief and because of the generosity of our donors, we were able to put Celissia and her son in temporary housing while we gutted and rebuilt their home. Through our Sonder Project Secret Santa, they are being sponsored for Christmas, and very soon they will be moving back into their rebuilt home.
