THE SONDER PROJECT YEAR 2017
LA GOLONDRINA , NICARAGUA
In April , we headed to La Golondrina , Nicaragua where there was no school structure only a home that a caring community member was allowing to be used for classes temporarily . The same community member who was letting her home serve as a temporary school was also kind enough to donate land for a proper school structure to be built . She was never able to attend school herself and wanted to ensure the education of her village ' s youth . This entire community was happy to help with the construction and 72 children now have a wonderful place to get their education .
