The festival will begin with a plant sale held by the Up- land Garden Club, at 9am under the Gazebo. Prices are marked to sell quickly, so ensure you arrive early to have a good choice. From 10am, strawberry sales will begin from the Up- land Historical Society stall. Pre-order your strawberries to pick up at the festival before 2pm, by calling 765- 998-2103. Flats, containing 8 one pound boxes, cost $23 and a 1 pound box costs $3. Additional strawberries will be available to purchase on the day. The Depot Museum and 1923 Pennsylvania Steel Caboose will be open for tours from 10am, and at 11am a G Gauge Modular Train Display will be open at the Lightrider Red Barn, GROCERY AND VARIETY STORE CALL: 765-998-1111 across the pedestrian bridge from the Depot Park. There will also be a collections, and hobbies display with many items of interest. All entrance is free to the public. From 11am, The Upland Historical Society will be selling their famous straw- berry sundaes and short- cakes, as well as ice cream cones. Carry-outs will be available for your friends and family who can’t make it out to the festival. At this time, Jeff Glass will be entertaining from the portable stage with Folk Music, followed by Sweet Sounds playing 50’s and 60’s Country music. All mu- sic entertainment is free to enjoy. At 3pm, you are invited to be a part of history by joining in the “Towns Folk” photograph which will be taken in front of the Depot to be used for the Sesquicen- tennial Celebration. The afternoon entertain- ment will be provided by Tab Beechler’s Gospel mu- sic, Victoria Markum also playing Gospel, and Roger Rayburn playing Folk and Country, ending at 7pm. There will be a wide vari- ety of refreshments and food to be enjoyed, including food stalls with sandwiches, pulled pork, nachos, funnel cakes, and more. Upland Li- ons Club will be selling their popular Hawaiian Shave Ice, the biggest shave ice you’ve ever seen with 21 different flavors to choose! For the kids there will be a Castle Bounce House, face- painting, temporary henna tattoos, and Strawberry, Dai- sy and Pig Boards for fun $ selfies. Bring your camera! Enjoy a variety of craft booths, and at 4pm the Up- land Lions Club will serve a BBQ Pork Chop and Chick- en Dinner (Adults $8, 10 and under $4). The evening will conclude at 7pm. The Upland Historical Society, the Upland Garden Club and the Upland Lions Club extends their thanks for the wonderful support of this event through the years.
