Paula Monsalve Quintet joins Taylor University Symphony Paula Monsalve's Quintet will join Chris Bade's Tay- lor University Symphony, Wednesday, May 3, at 7:30 p.m. in Rediger Auditorium for a free concert. Originally from Chile, South Ameri- can, Paula has lived in the Fairmount area for several years. Joining Paula will be her brother Roberto, travel- ing from Chile, on the piano and her guitar, bass and per- cussion musicians will travel from Indianapolis and Chi- cago. Paula will sing roman- tic songs in Spanish for the audience and her CD' s will be available in the lobby. Other spring events for the Monsalve Quintet include a free Indianapolis Children's Museum event on Sunday, April 30, at both 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Also, the quintet will perform at the Indianapolis Artsgarden, Circle Center, Indianapolis, on Saturday, May 6, at 1 p.m. GriefShare to begin May 1 in Hartford City GriefShare, a faith-based adult bereavement support group, will begin on Monday, May 1, at Grace United Meth- odist Church/New Commu- nity, Hartford City. This 13- week series will be conducted in the church's library and will be offered during both after- noon and evening sessions. Facilitators will be Deborah Foster and Myra Smith, and Reverend Lloyd Hall will as- sist. A grief-related DVD pre- sentation, confidential sharing and discussion, and prayer will be the pivotal compo- nents each week.
