Time to get your letters to Santa in
Boys and Girls , Moms and Dads
It is almost Christmas and I have not received your letter to Santa yet . Christmas Eve is coming up real soon and I need to know what you would like to have for Christmas . My elves have been working very hard this year . There are so many new toys that children are wanting , so the elves are very busy in the toy factory . Of course , since there are so many new toys , the elves like to play with them too . Ho ! Ho ! Ho !
I have a special mailbox at the Upland Post Office for you to drop your letters into . Be sure to put your name and address on your letter so I can send you a return letter .
I really enjoy reading your letters to see what you would like to have for Christmas .
Mrs Claus is busy making cookies for me and the very busy elves . Icka , my head boy elf , is very busy getting the reindeer ready to deliver all the toys the children have asked for . Rudolph is getting his nose all shined up to be able to guide my sleigh to your house .
Write your letter to me and drop it in my Santa Mailbox at the Upland Post Office . The last day the post office will accept your letter is Friday , December 23rd .

Service of lessons and carols at St . Paul ’ s EC
St . Paul ' s Episcopal Church , Gas City will present a service of Lessons and Carols on Friday , December 23 . The evening will begin with a social hour at 4:30 followed by the service of Holy Eucharist . The Rev . Whitney Smith will preside at the 5:30 p . m . service . Special music will be provided by Nicholas Fennig , keyboard and Hope Fennig , vocalist . The event is free and open to the public . All are welcome . St . Paul ' s is located at 121 E . Food for Fines at Barton Rees Pogue

Do you enjoy playing board games and card games ? Would you like to meet others in the Upland Community ?
Then join us for another Upland Community Game Night . We will have lots of games available to play , and you are welcome to bring your favorite game to share . We will have hot beverages to help fight off the winter chill . For Ages 13 & up . No childcare provided .
The library is having a food for fines drive during the month of December . If you have an outstanding library fine , you may donate one canned good or other nonperishable item for each dollar of your fine . Everything that is collected will go to help local families in need .
