The National Association for Music Merchants Show or NAMM for short , is pretty much what the name says ; a place where musicians , music tech engineers , manufacturers , brands , proaudio equipment manufacturers , lighting manufacturers etc . gather in Anaheim , California to show off their latest products and services . Condensing this three-day annual event into something as simple and forgettable as that is criminal and so here ’ s redemption . The tech that ’ s at NAMM ? It ’ s on the bleeding edge of music technology and so NAMM is a highly coveted event on every musician , music related industry , musical instrument manufacturer ’ s calendar . And it was back after a 2-year hiatus ( for …... obvious reasons ). So , here ’ s a run-down .
As their website puts it , ‘ The 2022 NAMM Show demonstrated the power of in-person events to help brands build mind share , develop relationships , create content , exchange ideas and get business done ’.
