Tell us about your upcoming projects- There are a couple of projects that I am looking forward to. There is another single which shall release by November. I have a web series coming out with Eros now on the 24th of September. The show is called 'Side Hero' and I'm starring in it alongside Gauhar Khan and Kunaal Roy Kapoor. I am focusing on these things at the moment. More on this soon! If there is one musician you would like to collaborate with in the future, who would it be and why? There are many actually, now I have some projects that are coming up, some cool collaboration in the near future. I will keep you updated on them. I grew up listening to everything from old-school metal to Indian Classical — so everyone from Iron Maiden to Kishori Amonkar. I really admire the work that Amit Trivedi, Amit Mishra and Clinton Cerejo are doing at the moment. I would love to work with them. Also, Arijit Singh, he is amazing and I think everyone loves him. And of course, AR Rahman! You have a studio of your own. Tell us a little bit about your set up. - I was in college at the time and had set up a professional recording studio where bands and musicians would come to jam and record music. I would wake up around 7 am for college and then head over to the studio at around 1 pm every day. It was hard work, and I would be in the studio until almost midnight. That's where I learned how things work. A lot of people who are big names in the industry have recorded there at that time. Although my seniors are stars now, they were only making a name for themselves in the industry back then.” Song on repeat on your playlist - The new Eminem album 'Kamakazi'. If there is one thing you would like to see as a change in the music industry, what would it be? Artists should stop competing with one another.
