It provides a close glimpse at the world of the music industry , which can build you up and instantly take you down . The premises lie with a girl gang of 4 , namely Brianna , Jill , Valeria and Naomi , who are in their 40s coming together to make a claim to fame like they did in the 90s with their band Nasty Bitches . This hip hop fuelled show gives an ode to female bonding and nostalgia .

Well , one of the most popular shows based on the music industry , Empire , is the story of Lucious Lyon , who is the CEO of Empire Records and his family politics . After being diagnosed with a terminal illness , he must place the reigns of his ‘ Empire ’ in the hands of one of his three sons , who he tests time and again . Things get complicated when his ex-wife gets released from jail after 17 years and asks for what is hers . A show to keep you hooked till the end and , due to this factor , became the most viewed show on Fox .

His personal life gets tossed into turmoil as his professional life starts looking up in this delightful show .
