Casio India Launches the
much awaited CT-X Series
From the brand that has manufactured countless cutting-
edge keyboards, comes a brand new series. Casio’s new CT-X
series has hit the market, equipped with a new sound chip
called Acoustic intelligent Expression (AIX) Sound Source.
The new AiX Sound Source is the result of the time and effort
that Casio invests in R&D, aimed at revolutionizing the
quality of their instruments. The richness of the sounds that
the CT-X series can produce is quite remarkable considering
the price bracket that it fits into and is even enough to give
some professional keyboards good competition. Apart from
the increased quality of the new sounds, Casio has also
added a processor that adapts to your touch and changes
the tonal expression based on the playing dynamics.
Aesthetically speaking, the sleek design of these models
are extremely striking and eye catching. Each of the
models has a distinctive case design and the beauty is
in the detail. Features such as the inclusion of a built-
in stand for a smartphone or a mini-tablet proves to be

embellished with distinctive red highlights (CT-X8000IN

Casio India has launched four models as part of the CT-X
Series: the CT-X700, CT-X870IN, 8000IN and 9000IN. The latter
three models have been customised for the Indian market by
integrating dedicated Indian Tone/Rhythm Banks along with
some lush sounds of Indian instruments such as the Shankh,
Bulbul Tarang and Khamak. The Indian keyboards also cater
to the students as these models have the Examination Tones
and Rhythms required for the Trinity Keyboard Exams.
The CT-X8000IN and the CT-X9000IN provide
a variety of features for composing and
Arranging as well as configuring/saving tones and
rhythms. The Phrase Recorder allows users to record a
musical phrase that can be instantly triggered using any
of the four pads while the mixer allows you to control
42 different components. For producers and composers,
the 17-track MIDI sequencer that permits you to save
up to 10 original songs comes as a real blessing.
The keyboard comes with an assignable jack can be used
with either a footswitch for improved playing dynamics
or an expression pedal. The CT-X8000IN and CT-X9000IN
