A singer, guitarist and a musician, Rashid was first spot-
ted at a concert in London by A R Rahman. He was part
of the Unity of Light Concert where he performed a jazz-
centric fusion of Ooh La La La . He started doing vocals
for A R Rahman for the first time in Parthale Paravasam.
He has sung two songs in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na.
