a famous Punjabi folk song. This folk song has been
recreated in different versions many-a-times with Chambe
Di Booti by Coke Studio being the most popular one. In
Cocktail, we saw a sufi version of the folk song being
depicted. Jugni refers to the singer wherein she acts as
an observer and sings about the various situations she
is put in while being on her path to love. This song is
breathtakingly sung by Harshdeep Kaur and Asif Lohar.
7. Kesariya Balam in Dor
This is one of the most famous Rajasthani folk songs ever created. The song was composed to welcome Rajput warriors to their
homes after war. The folk song has been incredibly recreated in Kesariya Balam in this 2006 movie. Karsan Sagathia is the
voice behind this Bollywood version of the song.
