If those emotions are positive and filled with confidence, optimism, resilience, joy or excitement, then they can help to improve our performance. We want to keep those thoughts and emotions. However, when our emotions are negative and filled with fear, doubt, worry, pessimism, frustration or anger, then they will hurt our performance. We want to change these emotions. To do that we need to change our thoughts. As often as you can over the course of a week, do things that reduce stress in your life and increase calmness.
