Chiyo Sakura is a cheerful high school girl who has a big crush on the oblivious Umetaro Nozaki. Much to Chiyo’s surprise when she confessed, she was given an autograph from Nozaki. On the autograph board was the name Sakiko Yumeno, which led Chiyo to discover that Nozaki is a popular shoujo mangaka despite Nozaki’s stoic appearance. Through many misunderstandings, Chiyo becomes an assistant for Nozaki’s manga. The hilarious events that follow allow Chiyo to befriend her schoolmates, such as the shameless Mikoto Mikoshiba, the “Prince of the School,” Yuu Kashima, and the president of the theater club and upperclassman, Masayuki Hori.
