Many times were Atsushi Nakajima’s orphanage being invaded by a mysterious tiger. Suspected to be behind the incidents, 18-year-old Atsushi was kicked out only to be left hungry and homeless while wandering the city. While he was starving one day on the riverbank, he saved a man, named Dazai Osamu, that almost drowned. Despite having an eccentric personality, Dazai is a supernatural detective who is on the case of finding the same tiger that has been terrorizing Atsushi. Together with Dazai’s partner, Doppo Kunikida, the case was solved, but because of Atsushi’s involvement, he became part of their supernatural detective agency. What comes afterward are unusual cases that the police cannot handle and fight alongside with his supernatural co-workers against Port Mafia.

Gintama (Genre: Action, Comedy, Historical, Parody, Samurai, Sci-Fi, Shounen)
Amanto, alien from outer space, invaded federal Japan. To prevent conflicts swords were banned as a result and samurais were treated with disrespect. Then there is Gintoki Sakata who still possess the heart of a samurai despite his love of sweets and working as a yorozuya (a job where they do errands for a fee) might not make him look one. After several incidents, he is joined by Shinpachi Shimura, Kagura, and an oversized dog, Sadaharu. Working as a yorozuya does not mean that they are working with simple jobs, as they frequently run into the police, rebels, and assassins, leading to humorous yet unfortunate events. Being an errand boy is not so easy after all.

Black Butler/ Kuroshitsuji (Genre: Action, Comedy, Demons, Fantasy, Historical, Shounen, Supernatural)
The title of “the Queen’s Guard Dog” was bestowed upon young Ciel Phantomhive for his job of taking care unsettling events in Victorian England. Ciel is aided by Sebastian Michaelis, who is flawless at his job as a loyal butler, and Ciel uses whatever means to get the job done. However, there’s more between Ciel and Sebastian. In Ciel’s past, he was involved with a tragedy and was absorbed into the darkness as a result. During his bleakest moments, he formed a contract with Sebastian, who is a demon, in exchange for his soul to avenge on the people that put him in this misery. Today, an unbreakable bond formed between them as the two continue to solve the mystery behind Ciel’s misfortune.
My Hero Academia/ Boku no Hero Academia (Genre: Action, Comedy, School, Shounen, Superpower)
Superpowers, called “quirks” in this world, appeared suddenly one day. Now, 80% of humanity possess super abilities varying from telekinesis to controls of elements. Unfortunately, Izuku Midoriya is not part of the 80% and is called “quirkless.” Ever since he was a child, he wished to become a superhero, but without quirks, he cannot be one. So, he comes to admire heroes and takes notes on them whenever he can. Until one day, Izuku met the number one hero and idol, All Might. All Might’s quirk can be inherited, and with the merits, he found in Izuku, All Might chose Izuku as his successor. After many months of harsh training, Izuku enrolled in UA high, a prestigious high school best known for excellent hero training program. As he faces villains with his talented classmates, Izuku will learn what it’s like to be a hero.
