Ready Player One was on one of my summer reading lists for school, one year. Although I didn’t read it, many of my friends and peers read it and recommended it to me. It is coming out with a movie adaption on March 29, 2018, so check it out if you are interested!

Cath, an introverted Simon Snow fan, is starting college for the first time. Simon Snow is what got Cath and her twin sister, Wren through their mother leaving. Although Wren has already drifted away from the Simon Snow fandom, Cath still holds it close. When Wren tells Cath she doesn’t want to be roommates; Cath is completely outside of her comfort zone. Without Wren by her side, is Cath ready to take on the world on her own?

Rainbow Rowell, the author of Eleanor and Park, takes on Fangirl. Although I’ve never read one of Rainbow Rowell’s books, they are definitely a part of my tsundoku collection. For me, Fangirl

immediately attracted me as I’m a

fangirl myself. As a senior ready to take on college soon, I’ll definitely be reading this book as soon as I find the time.

Otherworldly: words both strange and lovely from around the world

Do you love words or find yourself lost for words? If so, you should definitely check out the book Otherwordly. Otherworldly started out as a Tumblr page with wondrous words that were from different languages that can’t be translated, words that describe feelings that could never be named, or just beautiful, random words. With beautiful illustrations and words to surprise and delight, Otherworldly will introduce words that are otherworldly.

Words are so amazing to me. Being able to say something that someone else can understand the meaning to is just a daily occurrence now, but when you think about all the different languages, sentences, and words that are spoken out in the world, it’s astounding. When I found the otherworldly Tumblr blog, I immediately fell in love with the beautiful words featured to describe anything and everything.

With 2018 coming, one of my resolutions every year is to read more, so hopefully, these books are off my tsundoku list soon and yours as well.
