many laughs, many cheers, many hugs and fist-pumps and memories made. But there’s a hint of sadness that permeates the parking lots after the final whistle as the year crescendos to a swift conclusion and vanishes with the last crackle of the radio and the voice of Miss Johns signing-off with a “Thank you and goodbye.”

And then it’s football season. And basketball / hockey season shortly after that. And nine months until the band gets back together for the 2019 season.

But planning for that Jamboree and celebration has already begun.
