What is time?

The seconds, minutes, or hours in our days?

The days in our weeks or months?

The months in our years?

No, time is the hourglass of our lives, draining slowly.

It is the fuel with our lives are comprised of, it is the concept of movement.

What are you doing with this time of yours?

Arguing? Wasting? Waiting?

What is the essence of your time being used for?

Time is a contradiction for many of us. At times, we want it to go by faster. But as life goes on, we wish it would slow down. People want to grow up faster, to become independent, not tied down, “free”.

It is as if they assume that this independence comes naturally, but this is false.

Independence does not come with time, it comes with responsibility and preparation.

Life hands people independence, it happens even if they like it or not.

A part of life that comes unexpectedly.

Hits you like a truck if you’re not watching the road you walk on.

BUT, you can be ready for independence, make steps towards it and start moving

Don’t wait for it to come like an accident

You don’t deserve another second in your life if you can’t make the most of what you currently have.

Live carrying the past, Live in the moment, live for the future. I can’t decide what you want to use your time for nor what it would be used for.

All I can tell you is that time is limited, no matter what you do.

All I can ask of you is use that time for a greater purpose, extend it beyond yourself. Use it for your satisfaction while working towards others’ satisfaction.

You’ll be missing out a lot in life if all you do is look at yourself.

The world is a big place, a sea of people, a sky of emotions, and a rollercoaster of experiences. The world is not a mirror that revolves around you.

You are the mirror that reflects your actions onto others. Do things that you’ll look happily back on.

Make sure to not regret the decisions you have made.

But if you did make that mistake, accept it and move on.

Time doesn’t stop for you, don’t spend more than what you should need or have.

Although this is different for each individual and the circumstances that revolve around that moment.

The world spins even if you stop
