While the top-seeded teams of each level and division were placed in the Championship bracket with all roads leading towards Devens, Massachusetts, approximately half of the MBYLL Select teams were placed in a consolation bracket whose championship games took place at the home site of the highest remaining seed.

In U15 Division I, 5-seeded Weston beat North Attleboro, Natick, and Medway before visiting 2-seeded Hamilton-Wenham in the Best-of-the-Rest Championship. Hamilton-Wenham beat Beverly/Cape Ann, Shrewsbury, and Lexington before hosting but ultimately falling to Weston 11-8.

In U15 Division II, 4-seeded Nipmuc beat Westwood and Leominster before visiting 3-seeded Peabody in the Best-of-the-Rest Championship. Peabody beat Swampscott/Nahant and Milton before hosting but ultimately falling to Nipmuc in a nail-biter, 13-12.

In U13 Division I, top-seeded Weston beat Holliston and Framingham on their way to hosting 2-seeded Lexington. Lexington beat Chelmsford and Wakefield and then won the bracket 13-11 over their friendly rivals from the West Central Region.

In U13 Division II, top-seeded Northbridge defeated Natick and Wachusett on their way to hosting the 2-seed Norwood. Norwood, on their side of the bracket, defeated Watertown and Winthrop. For the fourth occurrence of the 2015 Best-of-the-Rest playoffs, the visiting team won the bracket (Norwood over Northbridge with a score of 10-9).

With 2015 bringing enormous changes to MBYLL Select but with overall positivity and satisfaction, the playoffs proved to be another big success for the teams involved. Between the Championship and Best-of-the-Rest brackets, the 2015 postseason saw worthy adversaries fight for the coveted crown and truly deserving champions hoisting the proverbial trophy.

We couldn't have asked for better games, better weather, and better champions across the league, but truly feel that with such a pleasant spring full of enriching lacrosse at all levels and divisions, everyone walked away from 2015 a winner.
