Gamie Games - Upcoming Games

2019? Oh yeah… we got a lot to talk about.

Many iconic game titles came out in 2018 alone. What are we in store for 2019? I'll tell you if you stop asking. With that said here is upcoming games for this year.

First off I want to talk about the long lasting Mortal Kombat series. Mortal Kombat 11 is coming most likely in this April. You know where you'll catch me on that day. For those who don't know what this series is about, it is a side scroller fighting game. Known primarily to be in arcades now in your flat screen and a button mashing mess with friends and family. Mortal Kombat 10 was amazing for two facts, gruesome and combos. Always combos and always got to make the best brutal fatalities. Not many games rival Mortal Kombat's gruesome graphics besides most zombie games but we all know how long those last.

Next game is Days Gone. You play as a biker on a journey to survive… you guessed it… a zombie infested world. I mean I'll give the credit where it is due but if I'm honest zombie games are just becoming a joke in some aspects though this brings in the idea of not zombies but "freakers," virus infected rabid humans who find themselves to be oddly the same as a zombie. Either way, the main biker character is said to be depressed in that he tries to find a reason to live in a survival game, which I'd say can be the best aspect. The story could be driven through as a man finds his hope while fighting off freaker bears, humans, and bad guy humans.

This game is going to be either a huge flop or a very iconic lasting game — Tom Clancy's: Division 2. A game about America falling to terrorism and you as the Division squadron have to be America's last standing hope. That is something I can look very much forward too. From experience, Tom Clancy games have been reasonably well and much has been teased about all the little details in this game. From dialogues said throughout firefights and how you can buy and pick up guns with basic perks and expert perks. Almost inviting MMO gaming into a mashup with FPS genres. Very revolutionary or completely drowned by in-game purchases. It all depends on whether the developers decide if the idea isn't packing enough pay to win scenarios.

This last game I have the most hype for. This position goes to Rage 2. An open world FPS chaos creator. I love games like this, hack and smash everything in sight. When I saw the trailer, I was excited because of the Borderlands 2 vibes I got to front it. Though a bit more explosions and sci-fi. I think that this game will do exceptionally well if the marketing is thriving as we have seen it all before that developers stuck gold only not finding the right person to sell it to. So I am hoping the best for the game and its success.
