The Village of Willowbrook is very excited to have Teresa Mrozik join our staff as the Superintendent of Senior Services . Teresa comes to the Village with seventeen years of experience in the parks and recreation field , spanning positions that she held at the Joliet Park District , Village of Riverside , and Village of North Riverside . Additionally , I am extremely excited to work with Teresa because of her leadership , passion , and experiences . I truly believe that she is going to take this program to another level . The reason I say that is because she truly believes in serving and providing the best possible programs and trips for all of you . Her new slogan “ It ’ s All About You ” is a fundamental staple for how she programs and feels . Teresa wants to serve and provide memorable experiences and engaging social interaction to fit everyone . The Village strives to be inclusive and have something for every individual . I hope that all of you are as excited for her arrival as I am . I am sure you will notice some changes to the this edition of The Scoop , but also recognize the commitment to provide a variety of services and programs that fit your diverse needs and interests . The last few months have been quite difficult . I ’ ve had to have numerous difficult conversations with many of you about refunds and cancellations . We are past all of that now . There is a new beginning here , and we truly hope that you feel that energy . It has been a pleasure to get to know many of you more . I have tremendously enjoyed our conversations at various Afternoon Delights , the Ruth Lake Socials , or even just the phone calls to register you for programs . I look forward to having more activities and events for all of you to participate in . Thank you for your patience and understanding . We are very excited about this new beginning .
