Welcome to Issue I of the long-awaited Volume VI of the most prestigious of all scientific journals. This is a truly great milestone as, after much legal wrangling and political machinations, the first full issue of The Scientific Journal of International Science is available for the public's perusal. Do not fear - nothing has been left out of this bumper edition of the greatest science ever conducted! There are reports to startle, articles to astound, reviews to bemuse and of course many attractive scientists to drool over. This issue simply cannot be missed by SJIS enthusiasts and those who are new to science.
"Well, what have you got in store for us this time," I hear you ask with my extraordinarily powerful listening device on the top of SJIS headquarters. I'm glad you asked, as I'm desperate to tell. We've got thrilling scientific advancement demonstrated in our 'Original Research' feature, which you should not miss for anything. We have enthralling new perspectives presented in our redoubtable reviews and inspiring investigative work reported in our daring new feature 'SJIS investigates'. We've also got an SJIS exclusive in our 'Scientist in the Spotlight' feature as we finally interview Dr Carmine Wainman, who has kindly taken time out of his hectic schedule to talk to us. Of course we can't forget to mention the ever-popular 'Sexy Science' feature, which highlights the brilliant work brought to the world by Jenny, 22, from Essex, who is something of a celebrity in Geological circles. What are you dawdling about here for? Get reading already!
