Above us are the Himalaya Mountains. The Himalayas are the tallest mountains in the world, with around 90% of the world's 100 highest peaks in the mountain range. The Himalayas are often snow covered, as they are at altitudes 9 kilometers abovve the ground. The Himalayas border 6 countries: Bhutan, Tibet, India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Afghanistan.
