Machairas Monastery
Machairas Monastery is situated 40km away from Nicosia, and the monastery is devoted to the Virgin Mary. The monastery has a dome and a beautiful roof that is tiled, and the interior designs decorated with chandeliers, wall frescoes, and religious icons with the Virgin Mary icon occupying a centrepiece position.

here are several churches in Cyprus which are mostly orthodox, and they are devoted to the Virgin Mary and a particular Saint based on their affinity. The Armenian Church and Monastery are one of the most historical sites situated in the northern part of the capital, Nicosia. The work of genius compound has some school structures, with the Armenian Prelacy, courtyards, and an imposing ancient edifice all within a fenced wall.
Agios Georgios Alamanos Monastery
This Byzantine-styled monastery has around for centuries and presently stands as a Greek Orthodox convent for nuns. The Monastery is near Pentakomo and Monagroulli villages which are in Limassol district. Agios Georgios Alamanos Monastery is dedicated to Saint George in honour of him as a venerated and famous saint in Cyprus.
