Aphrodite Lounge Bar;
why go anywhere else!
As an island, the coast of Cyprus should be one long set
of interconnected beaches. This is true from Ayia Napa to the
Akamas along the southern coast, with numerous beaches, each better
than the next. Some of the more popular beaches are listed below.
Our city, Limassol, is not only known for its
delectable cuisine, its history and attractions.
It is also famous for its clubs, bars and coffee shops.
This is where we introduce our Aphrodite Lounge bar!

Beaches in Cyprus
The Aphrodite experience
One of the best spots, Aphrodite Bar offers the ideal setting from
morning coffee to late night exotic cocktails. Located in the beautiful
city of Limassol, within the premises of the luxurious five-star hotel, the
Lounge is open to both residents and non-residents of the hotel who can
enjoy their drinks with incredible panoramic views of the Mediterranean
Sea. You could go to a coffee shop for coffee, or a bar for a quick drink,
but why spend time moving around, when you can relax here.
Our goal is to serve the best to savor

Nissi Beach is a promi-
nent beach in the prov-
ince of Ayia Napa, but
belongs to Famagusta
district. The beach
stretches out 500 me-
tres with crystal clear
water, which is surpris-
ingly shallow, reach-
ing only waist height.
The water sports best
suited to this beach
are windsurfing, pedal
boating, water-skiing,
paragliding, ringo rides
and banana boats. In
the Ayia Napa tradi-
tion, Nissi beach is a
very popular attraction
for the younger genera-
tion, and beach parties
with music programmes
run throughout sum-
mer. Weekends see
beach and foam parties
with loud music and
famous DJ’s. The magnificent sands
of Konnos Bay ap-
pear out of nowhere as
you exit the greenery
of Cavo Greko, Ayia
Napa. This bay, which
is considered to be
one of the most scenic
beaches in Cyprus, is
horseshoe shaped with
fine golden sand for
about 200 metres. It
has perfect swimming
conditions, especially
for children, as there
are no waves at all.
Many different types
of watersports can be
found here as well.
Whether you’re star-
ing out at the dazzling
view, lazing on the
sand or enjoying a cool
drink at the hillside
café that looks out to
sea, this stunner is un-
forgettable. Mackenzie beach, just
off Larnaca bay, is
a kilometer-long flat
beach, eminently suit-
able for families with
children. This Blue
Flag beach is usually
calm, given its shel-
tered position, with
its shelf dropping
below waist height
after some 50 metres.
Water sports include
jet skis, speed boats,
water skiing and wind-
surfing. Diving is also
possible at the Zenobia
shipwreck. Bikini clad
fashionistas sipping
on mojitos and tap-
ping their feet to house
beats intermingle with
a horde of muscular
young men sipping on
their frappes at the res-
taurants, including fish
tavernas, in the area.

Mojito
There’s no substitute for a classic.
Nothing says summer like a classic
Mojito cocktail, a simple but delicious
combo of white rum, lime, mint leaves,
brown sugar and soda.
Our professional bartenders will give
outlet to their creativity and will add
mint leaves and lime wedges to garnish
with yerba Buena or mint springs.

Daiquiri
Say yes to Daiquiri
The classic daiquiri a trio of rum, sug-
ar, and lime, possesses the unique virtue
of always being the right answer. Wheth-
er as your first drink of the night or the
third, on the beach or in the hotel room,
it never ceases to gratify and enchant. If
you wish to fruit it up then a Strawberry
Daiquiri would be a nice option for you.
Pina Colada
The real deal
The pina colada is a sweet cocktail
made with rum, coconut cream or coco-
nut milk, and pineapple juice, usually
served either blended or shaken with ice.
Try the real deal!

Dhekelia Beach:
The beach of Dhek-
elia, sometimes called
Cessac Beach, is the
longest sandy beach
of Larnaca, fronting a
huge collection of ho-
tels. A variety of water
sports, as well as beach
volleyball provide the
exercise factor. Dhek-
elia road has many
shops, mini-markets,
night time bar s and
clubs and a number
restaurants provide in-
ternational cuisine.

Coral Bay:
Coral Bay, 6 km north
of Paphos, is a small bay
with golden sand and
rather shallow waters.
It is a gorgeous family-
friendly choice. The
shallow and gentle wavy
water beckons kids, their
parents and other adults
can stretch out under
a beach umbrella and
anyone and everyone –
teenagers, families and
young couples — can
create their space on the
popular strip.
Paramali Beach (Main picture): Paramali
Beach, Limassol is a two-km beach, the southern
half of which falls in the British Overseas Terri-
tory of Akrotiri. It offers sun and sand for the tan
types to laze on, as well as scope for the active
types who love to hit the waves. One of the few
beaches where the winds pick up and the waves
get rough, it lives up to its standing as one of the
best kitesurfing beaches on the island. ■
