The Roshua Review September 2016 | Page 51

Editorial-

Hey, I know that the magazine was a lot to read because it was definitely a lot to write. I just want to leave you with some things to take with you as you enter the 4th quarter of 2016. First, stay safe; there's too many crazy things happening these days, be it bombings or police brutality. The readers of TRR are my family, and although I don't know each and every one of you by name I want the best for you all. And yes, we're entering the 4th quarter of the year, so if you've got any last minute wishes for 2016, now is the time to do it. Don't let fear get in your way, and don't let anyone else define success for you. We all have our own paths, and it's up for you to figure out which way works for you. After TRRLP2 (The Roshua Review's Second Launch Party in support of this issue), I was really proud of everything I have accomplished, and I wanted to share that feeling with all of you. Because according to business standards, I failed this past Sunday. But I know, along with everybody in attendance, that TRRLP2 was far from a failure. I feel more successful than ever, and I want to leave you with a similar feeling. Kanye once said "Reach for the stars, so if you fall you'll land on a cloud," and that is exactly what we should all strive for. In life, we're going to make mistakes, and we're going to have to learn from them. But those mistakes don't warrant failure; they're actually what make us succeed. So go out and continue chasing your dreams in this 4th quarter

Best Wishes,

Rosh Jobin
