Bryson Tiller - Trap Soul Review
Since I’ve been so swamped with school stuff this month, I haven’t kept up with a lot of music to review but I did become addicted to one project; “TRAPSOUL” by Bryson Tiller. I just love that Tiller has made his debut with a very unique sound. It’s not often that we hear someone who can actually sing and rap, but also not over trap beats. That puts him in his own lane and it also takes advantage of the trap movement while reviving R&B. He added more profanity than I thought was needed but I still really liked the project. I can listen to it straight through over and over, and I can’t say that about a lot of albums these days. My only thing is that I’m not sure what he wants to be considered, a rapper or a singer because he holds his own in both. I guess that’s good because it gives him room to grow and experiment, while keeping people like me interested and looking to see how he uses his talents next. I have to say, definitely catch up on Bryson Tiller if you aren’t familiar with his work.
