Editorial-
Nothing’s wrong with change. Being the human that I am, it would be obvious to say that I struggle with change. Lately though, a lot has changed for me, and a lot has changed for The Roshua Review. Notice the new cover? That’s one change, so go ahead and soak that in. I’ve been accepted into the Grammy Camp, so I will be in LA at the end of the month to learn how to make this magazine an even better experience. That’s a blessing, not necessarily a change, but trust that the June or July issue will come with even more changes. Yes, I’ve been listening to all of your suggestions, and finally I’ve given you what you want. This is the first issue of The Roshua Review to premiere with a mobile version!
As always, there are goals for the magazine, but the purpose is mainly to get TRR to all of our readers in the simplest way possible. As the magazine grows, I pray that the overall reception for my work will as well. But the whole point that I’m trying to make with this editorial is that you can’t keep doing the same thing and expect different results. So don’t shy away from change. When we modify ourselves and our surroundings, crazy things can happen, so don’t ever marginalize yourself because of your fear of change. Everyone isn’t going to always agree with the changes you make either, but that’s the beauty of it all. There’s so many things in the world that we don’t have control of, so why remain stagnant with the things that you can alter?
Yes, change is scary. With all of the changes for The Roshua Review, anything could happen: good or bad. But why focus on the negative? When partnered with positivity, change can be liberating. So I’m inviting you to enter June with a new perspective and make a positive change in your life. Enjoy The Roshua Review.
Yours Truly,
Rosh Jobinson
