Eric Bellinger : Eric B . For President Tour

Intimate but lit nonetheless , Eric Bellinger turned out SOB ’ s in NYC during his Eric B For President U . S . Tour . His sound being a mixture between hip-hop and R & B , everything from 21 Savage to Jodeci defined the turn up with DJ Vision before he hit the stage . But once he stepped out , crooning Lay Up immediately followed by Repeat , the energy was even crazier . Then at one point he slowed things down and one special audience member , a true Eric Bellinger fan , got to experience the classic serenade on stage to ASAP from his 2014 album , The Rebirth . Despite the concert setlist being mixed with his old and new material , the audience sung it all , word for word . Now some may not know , but the LA native singer-songwriter has been in the game for a few years now and has over 10 projects to choose from . From the past year alone , he ’ s released 5 of them and I can honestly say that I don ’ t know any other artist doing this and producing quality work at that . He never disappoints and does it all independently under his own label , YFS ( Your Favorite Song ), which is also his tagline . And his live vocals were amazing , riffing the roof off the club and going into falsetto like it was nothing . Sometimes concerts make me double think if I should go as hard for an artist , especially when it comes to r & b singers . If the vocals aren ’ t right then I have to look at them sideways . In this case , I respect him even more . Don ’ t sleep on Eric B . and brace yourself to have several favorite songs .
