Salem (7-7, 2-3 region)
went down to Florida over
the break to play in a
holiday tournament, but the
team didn’t play up to its
potential and went 1-2 in the
tournament. The Seminoles
returned to Georgia to play
Alcovy and dominated,
winning 67-26. Head coach

The Lady ‘Noles started
the year off looking like a
decent team, not like a team
that can make a deep run
in the playoffs. Now that’s
changed. Salem is now 10-5
with a 5-1 record in region
play after going 3-1 over the
break, including a 2-1 mark
in Florida. Dilligard speaks
on their success over the
break and carrying over that
momentum into region play.
