AREA PLAYOFF GUIDE
The region tournaments are over and the state playoffs are
beginning. Here is a definitive guide to the upcoming games
for the state playoff games for the next couple of days.

HERITAGE FALLS IN INSTANT CLASSIC
It was an instant classic. Heritage
and Cedar Shoals battled
vigorously for the Region 8-AAAAA
championship, as the game went
into four overtimes, but Cedar
pulled away 68-63. Heritage will
move on to play Riverwood on
Wednesday at home, 7:30 p.m.

SALEM WINS REGION CHAMPIONSHIP
Salem did it. The Lady ‘Noles
won the Region 8-AAAAA
championship with a 44-37 victory
over Loganville. The best onetwo combo in the county, Ayanna
Mitchell and Shay Tarver combined
for 37 points in the win. Check
