One of our team members got the chance to experience getting tattooed at the Hub City Tattoo Expo. We had stopped by Krayon to Kaos booth where owner Dale Boudreau accepted to tattoo Christina's childreans initials on her forearms. As he was tattooing, we had the chance to ask him some brief questions.
The Rize: How long have you been in the tattoing business?
Dale: I've been tattoing for 4 and a half years professionally. Stated Krayons to Kaos at that time and have stayed with the same shop since.
The Rize: How many artist do you have working for you at your shop?
Dale: There's myself, another tattoo artist and a few apprentist.
The Rize: What made you decide to become a tattoo artist?
Dale: Growing up my dad had a bunch of tattoo and airbrushing magazines. I was always facinated by the art work.
The Rize: How many tattoo's do you have yourself?
Dale: I lost count at 30.
The Rize: What tattoo artist are you inspired by?
Dale: Quite a few. Bob Tyrel, Jaime McKay, Paul Booth, Jerry Swallow and Damian Mcgrath are just a few I can think of on the top of my head.
