The Rize: Who would you say has been your biggest inspiration?
Trax: Most definitely my mom. The things that she has went through time and time again, and no matter what, would end the day with a smile on her face, even if she had to force it. She has crossed the world and back for me multiple times in my life. As a young teen, I put her through some hard times, and no matter what she would do anything for me to see me happy. She's the biggest inspiration I could ever ask for, a Hero in my eyes really.
Aside from my mom, not many artists inspired me. Everything I listened to when I was younger was pretty hardcore and I inspire to be the complete opposite with my music, "Life" and experience from past and todays day to day living is a huge part of my inspiration.
I do alot of deep and heartfelt songs that anyone can relate to. All the people in the world who are struggling and my music has helped and still does, all you guys are my inspiration !
The Rize: If you could choose one word to describe this journey, what would it be?
Trax: Unimaginable
The Rize: Since you started, has there been one project you're particularly proud of and why?
Trax: Ahh, Not precisely. Everything I've done, Everything I've accomplished I'm proud of, because I took something I never had, something I taught myself to do and use in a postitive way and I made it all true and happen for myself.
So many years and hard nights, It was definitely worth it.
The Rize: If you could collarborate with anyone, who would it be?
Trax: Well of course Eminem, Others I would have to say Jake Miller, KJ-52, Tech N9ne, Linkin park and I'm sure there are a few others.
The Rize: How would you describe your style of music?
Trax: My music I like to think is Inspirational/Motivational Rap
The Rize: What can we expect from Trax Cordero in 2014?
Trax: New EP is on the rise, and Definitly throwing in a music video or two. We're looking at some designs on Merch as well. As of now I'm sure a lot more will unfold as the months go by.
