Turning
back the hands
of time
W
hile we tend to focus our anti-ageing efforts
on our face, some may find that their hands
actually appear to age faster. Our hands are
exposed to the elements as much as our faces,
yet this often neglected area is more fragile and
therefore susceptible to losing firmness and
plumpness at an accelerated rate. As we age,
the skin on the hands thins, causing veins to become more prominent and
sun spots to appear.
Like any body part, the greatest skin danger is the sun, so it’s vital to
use a cream containing an SPF of at least 30. Also remember to use a good
quality hand cream, always cover hands in cold weather and never forget
to use washing up gloves.
For hands that need extra attention, we now have a trio of in-clinic
treatments to help reverse the signs of ageing.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers can be used to restore a more youthful appearance to the
hands by replacing lost volume caused by ageing. By plumping the skin we
can reduce the appearance of veins and wrinkles which make the hands
look older.
Vampire PRP Hand Rejuvenation
This treatment uses the healing potential of your own platelet rich plasma
(PRP) contained in your blood to stimulate cell repair and regeneration.
Blood is taken from the arm, then harvested and re-injected into the backs
of the hands to rejuvenate, and volumise lines and wrinkles.

Using a combination of fillers, Vampire PRP therapy and Skinboosters, this
treatment is the ultimate in hand rejuvenation. The Skinboosters contain
hyaluronic acid, to improve skin quality and plump the skin to minimise
the appearance of veins and wrinkles.
