Epistemology is the study of knowledge. It is the study of how and why knowledge is attained. In other words, it's what you know and how you know it.

Christine's exact epistemology is unknown. She was a Christian, so it is logical to assume she followed Plato and believed in absolute truth. This would mean that she believe in only one truth, no matter what. In this belief, truths have origins from other worlds, like the nominal world. The nominal world contains the "perfect" truth and knowledge. However, the perfect truth and knowledge is from the God's, who are male figures. Christine is fighting for women to better themselves and not rely on men for information and knowledge. So, there may be some inconsistencies with her epistemology of absolute truth due to her fight for feminism.
