Stewarton Drama Group ... from stage to ( small ) screen !

Following on from the great success of our

first ever virtual performance in August
2020 , we are delighted to confirm we will be holding another virtual performance in December - ' A Christmas Night In With Stewarton Drama Group '.
There will 2 performances to choose from : Wednesday 9th December 2020 at 7.00pm , or Thursday 10th December 2020 at 7.00pm
We ' ll be using the Zoom app again which many of you will be familiar with already - so if you ' d like to join us for a bit of festive armchair theatre , from the comfort of your own home , please let us know by replying to this email and confirming which of the 3 performances you wish to attend .
As you ' ll appreciate , virtual seats are limited so we ' ll need to know how many different devices on which you wish to watch the performance ( eg if three of you will be watching in separate rooms , we ' ll need to reserve three places for you . But if three of you are gathered around one computer , we ' ll only reserve one place for you ).
A few days before the performance , we ' ll email you the information and codes you ' ll need to join . Virtual " doors " will open at 7.00pm . Performance starts promptly at 7.30pm .
What you will need :
• A device with a camera or a webcam
• A connection to the internet
• If your device uses apps , you ' ll need to download the Zoom app beforehand . Search for Zoom in your app store .
• If your device doesn ' t use apps , you don ' t need to download anything .
• If you ' ve never used Zoom , why not download it early and practice by setting up a meeting with that family member or friend you ' ve been meaning to check in on .

If any of your friends and family would like to join us on either Wed 9th or Thu 10th December please also ask them to email us at this email address ( stewartondramagroup @ hotmail . co . uk ) to reserve their online seats . love in a box

A huge thank you to all that left a Shoe-Box for Samaritan ’ s Purse - today we took 155 boxes to the processing centre in Glasgow .
From the look on your faces when you brought the boxes , it looks like you had as much fun packing them as the children will have when they open your box .
5000 boxes are already on their way to children in Belarus and they are hoping to send boxes to children in Liberia and Nigeria next .
Attached are some photos of cartons stacked up ready for shipping from a processing centre in Scotland . On average each of those cartons contains 10 Shoe-boxes - wow !
A big hug to each one of you from us . Stuart & Enid .
