Stewarton Annick FC Girls – update !
During the last few months , and despite
the challenges of COVID restrictions , the club has continued to grow . We have over 50 players and four teams who have been playing matches at U15s , U13s and U11s levels . As we look ahead to next year and the next football season starting in February / March 2021 ( fingers crossed !!) we are looking to grow participation in girls football even more !
U15s ( girls born 2006 / 07 ): Building on our first few matches this year , we will be playing 11-a-side competitive football next season against teams across the southwest region . We have a squad of friendly and committed girls and would always welcome players at any experience level .
U13s ( girls born 2008 / 09 ): Many of the girls in this squad have newly moved up to this level . We are playing 7-a-side in competitive league
matches . We are looking for girls to join at this age range , again with any experience level . We are particularly looking for girls who like to specialise in goalkeeping .
U11s ( girls born 2010 / 11 ): This is our largest age-group and we have been running two teams for 7-a-side matches . At this level matches are friendlies either against a single team or against many in a festival format . We would always welcome any new players at this level , particularly girls with an interest in goalkeeping .
U15s / U13s / U11s all train on Thursday evenings from 6pm at the Rose Reilly , Stewarton , Sports Centre .
NEW !!! U9s / 7s ( girls born 2012 / 13 / 14 ): Owing to the huge levels of interest we have received , we will be starting a girls section for younger girls . At this level we will focus upon
fun and skills and participate in 4v4 or 5v5 festivals when they resume . Please get in touch to give us your girls details if she might be interested to try it out !
U9s / 7s will train from 6-7pm on Wednesday evenings from 6-7pm at the Rose Reilly , Stewarton , Sports Centre , commencing January 2021 .
