Our popular Sheep Trail is back ! One of the shepherds wants to go and see baby Jesus , but he can ’ t find all his sheep ! He knows that he went into Stewarton shops and businesses - will you help him find his missing sheep ? Look out for the Sheep Trail sign in windows . advent prayer wall and christmas display
It has been great to see members of the community engaging with our prayer wall on the church railings at Harvest time and again for Remembrance . Hundreds of knitted , crocheted and crafted poppies were added to the church fence with prayers said and read for loved ones and for peace in our relationships and for the world . Thank you to our community of Stewarton and the craft groups of JK and St Columba ’ s churches . Over the Advent period five large 2D candles will be on display in the church garden , a new one being added on each Sunday in Advent . There will be an opportunity to tie a ‘ prayer bauble ’ with your own prayer or thoughts to the railings throughout December . Bring along a permanent pen and take part ! Please remember to maintain social distancing .

John Knox and St Columba ' s have for many years collected gifts of toys to be given via EACHa ( East Ayrshire Churches Homelessness Action ) to young people in need throughout East Ayrshire . EACHa are looking for new toys , wrapped up and marked with the age of child / teenager this gift is for and whether for a boy / girl . Wrapped parcels can be brought to John Knox car park on Sat 12 December between 10-12 .
